INTOXICATED DRIVER.
FINE OF TEN POUNDS. Per Press Association. AVELLINGTON, April 9. At the Police Court Frederick Herring was fined £lO for being drunk while in charge of a car. He' was described as practically a teetotaller, who had been drinking with some country friends. As it was his first offence his license was not endorsed. Accused had run into and injured a pedestrian.
