INCREASE IN SHEEP.
NEW SOUTH WALES FIGURES. Received April 9, 12.15 p.m. SYDNEY, April 9. The official agricultural and live stock statistics of New South "Wales for the year ended 30th Juno last show that 4,914,485 acres were under crop. In practically every instance the production exceeded the average yield of the past fivo years. Sheep and lambs numbered 42,925,117, cattle 2,876,254, horses 647,503. Sheep increased by 5,386,000. Horses and cattle both showed a slight decrease.— Press Association.
