ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.
REFEREES FOR TO-AIORROW,
Referees for the Association football matches to be played to-morrow will bo as follow :
St.- Andrew’s v. Flock House (at Flock House), Air H. Crouch; R.S.A. v. Foxton (at Foxton), Air Idione; Rangers v. Athletic (at North Street Park), Air J. Forbes. Two amended rules which have been adopted in England come into force on Saturday. Under the old rule a player was off-side when the ball was passed forward to him unless at least three opponents were between him and tho goal. The new ruling is that a player is not off-side unless there are fewer than two of the rival team between him and his opponent’s goal on his receiving the ball. With regard to tho throw-in, the player must have Ins feet outside the line, not on the line as before.
THE TEAMS. Scouts A v. St. Andrew’s, at North Street Park, 2 p.m. to-morrow: K. Metcalfe, Cunninghame, E. Kemp son, Wagstaff, Anderson, de Vantier, McHaffie, D. Smillie, T. Young, E. Fletcher, P. O’Connell. Emergencies, A. Cogswell, J. Hands, H. litshall. Scouts B: M. Francis, J, Hands, I'Mathie. N. Fletcher, Swanson, Turner, T. Arlidge, McNab, A. Cogswell, H. Titshall, A .Cutler. R.S.A. team to travel to Fcxton will be: Chapman, Taylor, Tucker, Trueman, West (captain), Lovejoy, Morgan May ell. Baigent, Macdonald, Contain-, Harding, Gardner. The team will leave the Soldiers Club at 1.15 p.m. sharp. ■ Athletic team to play Rangers: Chapman, Askam, Travers, Mclnlay, Whitchouse (captain). Walker, H. Childs, Rainford, P. Childs, Hearsoy, I-larirman, Davies. Kick-off at 5.40 p.m.
