SALE OF YEARLINGS. A RECORD PRICE. SYDNEY, April 8. At the yearling sales a Valais — Bunee colt realised 3800 guineas—an Australian and New Zealand record price for a yearling. _A Magpie — Susanna colt brought 1150 guineas; a Magpie—Queen Ingoda filly 1100 guineas; and a Sarchedon —Galtee Princess filly 1050 guineas. Mr McCoombe, of New Zealand, purchased a Baverstock —Amicitia colt for 120 guineas. Mr W. Jorgensen purchased a Trillion—Nazetha gelding for 220 guineas, and Mr A. McDonald purchased a Flying King—Lady Ceres colt for 325 guineas. A Linacre—Black Battery gelding realised 1350 guineas.—Press Association.
