AUSTRALIAN IMPRESSIONS. “ENTHRALLING; EXOTIC.” NEW YORK, March 30. The 20,000-ton Cunarcl. liner, Carintliia, has returned to New York after a five months’ world tour, which was so successful that tho controlling company will repeat it, commencing next October. An elaborately illustrated booklet, describing tho tour, refers to Australia as “one of the most engrossing regions in the world —enthralling and exotic.” Australian plains are termed “suave downs,” Sydney streets are classed as “impressive,” while tho Yarra is “delightful.”
