SOHO CLUB MURDER.
FRENCHMAN DETAINED. LONDON, April G. Tho foreign quarter of &oho was thrilled lasi, evening by a man dashing liatless from a club with blood streaming from a wound in ins head, despite wnidi he escaped. The police found a man dead in the club. They drew a cordon round tile vicinity and detained members of the dub wnile investigating. it is believed that the men quarrelled suddenly about a woman while playing cards and drinking.
Detectives boarded a Channel steamer at Newhaveu late at night just before she departed lor Dieppe and detained a Frenchman m connection with tho murder of Charles llalludder, a compatriot.—A. and N.Z. cable.
