KNOCKED DOWN WELL.
MAN’S ARM BROKEN. USES TEEtSTtO CLIMB. BRISBANE, March 31. A farmer at Home Hill, with fractured left arm, was yesterday obliged to climb by the aid of his teeth from the bottom of a well into which he had been knocked by the spindle of an irrigation pump. H. Randsden, jun., was attending the pump when the accident occurred. He found himself 20ft. from the top, with a ladder running up. To regain the surface he held on with his uninjured hand and climbed the rungs by biting the rungs to give him support.
