ATTACK FROM AIR,
PALACE GARDEN HIT.
Received April 5, 9.60 a.m. PEKIN, April 4. Allied Wu pei fu-Chang tso lin aeroplanes flew over Pekin with the object of bombing the Feng yu hsiahite headquarters and barracks. They dropped a number of 60-pound bombs, one of which fell in the Winter Palace grounds and one into the palace lake, just missing tho barracks. Thp other bombs damaged some houses. The only casualty was a Chinese girl.— Reuter.
