DISGUSTING PLAY.
“WET PAINT” BANNED,
LONDON, March 24. The Censor lias banned tho Earl of Latliom’s play "Wet Paint.”
When the play was privately produced in London last month, critics denounced it as disgusting, nauseous, and unreal. Its author, whose plays have been consistently turned down by London managers, declared that it was a real picture of certain phases of life, and it only needed -a few slight alterations to enable it to pass the censor.
