STEAMER HELD UP.
WAIKOUAITI WITHOUT A CItHVV. For Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 25. The Union Company’s steamer Waikouaiti has been held up since Wednesday awaiting a crew. The company’s' call met with no response, the rr.en demanding that three extra trimmers be signed on. The company declined to do this. A further effort 1o secure a crew to-day was unsuccessful.
