LONDON, Jan. 24. When tho lvomo of Madame. Sarah Grand, tho famous novelist, Crowe Hall, Bath, was destroyed by fire at midnight, along with many art treasures, Madame Grand and others of tho household escaped in their night attire. Tho servants crawled along tho parapet, and were rescued, excepting the cook. Madamo Grand’s cook, Florence Allan, aged 62, discovered tho fire and aroused tho household, including nine guests, soveral of whom were rescued from blazing windows.
