HUMAN SKELETONS

FOUND ON ORKNEY ISLANDS.

AFTER EIGHT HUNDRED YEARS

REMAINS OF A SAINT. (By Electrio Telegraph.— Copyright.) Received January 25, 10.15 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 24. After 800 years it lias been definitely ascertained that human skeletons found in the Kirkwall Cathedral, Orkney Islands, are the remains of Saint Magnus and his nephew Rognvald, who founded the church in fulfilment of a vow to erect a minister suitable to receive his saintly uncle’s relics. It is noteworthy that in tho back of tho skull, which is believed to he that of Saint Magnus, is a long hole, compatible with tho historical fact that Saint Magnus was murdered by a blow on the head by a sharp instrument.—Reuter.
