WELTER-WEIGHTS. WORLD’S CHAMPIONSHIP
LONDON, Jan. 13. Mr Smith, promoter of the Phil Scott-Georgo Cook fight, to be held on January 27, has cabled to America offering Milligan and Mickey Walker a £14,000 purse to contest the world’s welter-weight championship at Edinburgh.
