SONS OF SEAMEN,

Among tho immigrants brought out by the Arawa, which arrived at Auckland from England yesterday morning, were 30 boys for Flock House! These lads, who are under the care of Mr Frank W. Ivey, 'secretary of the New Zealand Sheepowners’ Fund, London, range in ages from 14 to 16 years, and are a fine stamp of boy (says the Star) A They have been taken from the coastal towns of England, and with one exception are the sons of seamen. One of tho boys in from Ireland. They aro a well-behaved lot of boys, and ail willing worker's, They look forward with keen anticipation to their work, and while some of them have had a little oxpcricnco in farming, most of them har e been employed in various trades and professions. The boys who were met at the wharf by Mr T. It. Lees, left Auckland last evening for Flock Houso.
