AORANGI HELD UP.
DELAY MARS RECORD TRIP. VANCOUVER, Jan. 8. Passengers from tho motor vessel Aorangi landed on Friday afternoon after a day anchored in the fog outside tlio perilous Narrows at tho entrance to Vancouver. Tho delay marred a record run from Sydney to Victoria. Tho passengers experienced two Cliristmasses, the first at Suva and the second after crossing tho 180tli meridian. Christmas dinner and the celebrations were repeated. —A. and N.Z. cable.
