RECEPTION AT ADELAIDE. FUTURE USE OF CAVALRY. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received January 11, 11.45 a.m. ADELAIDE, Jan. 11. General Allenby was given a big jmblic and civic reception on arrival Referring to the splendid work of the Australian mounted troops in Palestine, ho declared that cavalry would bo used more in future warfare than over before. Aeroplanes and fast tanks delivering shock attacks would amplify the sphere of action lor mounted troops, ho said, and tanks would enable supplies of munitions to bo moved forward at a great pace, providing a moving base for the cavalry.— —Press Association.
