BRUTAL MURDER IN HOBART, MAN ATTACKED IN STREET (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyriah.t.l Received January 2 10.5 a.m. HOBART, Jan. 2. Patrick King, aged 58, was found lying in a street near the waterfront and died later in hospital. He had evidently been tho victim of a brutal assault. His pockets had been rifled. The police think that ho was attacked by two persons and felled with bottles. His skull was fractured. The polico characterise it as one of the most brutal murders known in Hobart. —Press Association.
