MOTORS IN COLLISION.
DRIVER’S LUCKY ESCAPE. HAMILTON, Dec. 30. The main Te Awamutu road, three miles south of Ohaupo, was tho scene of another motoring accident yesterday motning, when a small car, .’riven by Mr McGuire, of Wellington, was overturned and badly damaged by collision with a big car driven by Mr Arthur S. Burgess, of Wanganui, nnd containing two lady passengers. Both drivers exerted every effort to avoid each other, not without success, and tho buffer of the larger car caught the smaller on the running board and overturned it.
Mr McGuire escaped rather luckily with a cut cheek from the broken glass, while tho larger car sustained minor damage.
