BOY SCOUT JAMBOREE.
GATHERING AT DUNEDIN. Tho first New Zealand jamboree for Boy Scouts will be held at Taliuna Park, Dunedin, from January 9 to January 24. Scouts from South Africa, Australia and all parts of New Zealand will attend. There will bo over 1000 New Zealand scouts present. Among the attractions at tho camp will be campfire entertainments, a mock attack, athletic events, and a swimming carnival. There will be two parades through tho city, two displays of scoutcraft, and tho jamboree will conclude with a concert and farewell. Every member of tho Arawa patrol which attended the jamboree at the Empire Exhibition at Wembley will be present. The camp will be commanded by Commissioner J. D. Campbell, of Rarotonga. Major W. E. Furby, general secretary for New Zealand, formerly of Palmerston North, will be camp adjutant, and Captain Slipper, of Palmerston North, will be camp quartermaster.
