CAMP AND CONFERENCE.
SEVENTH DAY ADVENTiSTS. Per Press Association. DANNEVIRKE, Dec. 30. The annual North Island camp and conference of the Seventh Day Adventists held the opening session last evening. The conference is being held on the Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s showground, which has been converted into a miniature canvas town, tho delegates, number about 500, being accommodated in 150 tents. Both living and dining quarters are provided. Pastor W. R. Scragg, president of the conference, extended a welcome to tho delegates who included Pastor O. Montgomery, vice-president of the General Conference in charge of their denominational work in North America, Professor L. H. Wood, principal of the Australian Missionary College, and Pastor W. J. Westerman, president of the South Island Conference. Tho conference will last until January 10th.
