HUGE METEOR SEEN.

CROSSING THE KORO SEA. SUVA, Dec. 12. While a cutter was crossing the Koro Sea on Tuesday night at 11.20 o’clock the passengers and crew were startled by tho sudden appearance of a huge meteor in the north-west sky. Tho meteor was the largest anybody on board had ever seen. It took quite a time to complete its flight, one estimate being 40 seconds.
