FIRE IN THEATRE.

THIRTEEN PERSONS KILLED. MANILA. Dec. 26. Thirteen persons were killed and 100 injured when a theatro at Cebu was burned to the ground. The fire started in a film projection room. The audience became panic-stricken and rushed the exits. Many were burned as the flames spread, and others were trampled underfoot. An American with an axe cut an exit in the walls, saving tho lives of several people.— A. and N.Z. cable.
