FAMILY TRAPPED INSIDE A HOUSE.
BRISBANE, Dec. 15. A storm at Charlevillo was the most disastrous in the history of tho town. Tlio residence of Mr John Donsley was struck by tho full force of a 60-mile-an-lvour gale, which blew a large part of tho dwelling away and twisted the remainder into fantastic shapes. Mrs Densley and her children, who wore in the house at the time, were terrified. They were unable to open the doors to escape, and Mr B. Madden went to their assistance. He lifted them through a window.
About 50 or 60 houses were more or less damaged at Cunnamulla. AA’liilo Mr G. Salisbury was seated at a table at mid-day yesterday a vivid flash of lightning cut a piece of glass clean out of h window and burst the window open.
