TO FOXTON BY ROAD.
Many residents of Palmerston North and surrounding districts aro taking advantage of the holiday season to visit Foxton and spend an enjoyable day by tho .seaside. Large numbers of those journeying to the beach are travelling by road and making excellent use of tho efficient service provided by Madge’s char-a-bancs, which run frequent trips between town and the beach. A very enjoyable day may be spent at Palmerston North’s port, facilities in the way of local stores, hot water service, etc., helping to make an outing there a happy one.
