WAITOMO GLOW WORMS. APPRECIATION OF WONDERS. HAMILTON, Dec. 24. Several parties of the American, visitors have been to Waitomo on their way from Rotorua to Wellington, ana their expressions of delight carry the conviction of real honest appreciation. They came out of the caves awed with the wonder of the Glow Palace. There was no need for the guide to enjoin silence; it was to them beyond speech. “This,” said one of the visitors afterwards, “is the finest sight we have seen since leaving home. \\ e must tell the others about it.” One lady was strangely, silent tor a time, and then in a sweet voice said. “If heaven is more beautiful, then l want to be good so as to get there. The American visitors were loud in the praises of “our trams and the transport arrangements that were made for them. The meals at Frankton Junction refreshment rooms were all that could have been desired when on the move, but “Oh, dear, commented one gentleman, “those towels in the lavatories. Why, we had to all use the same one. Look here, son, tell your people that they should go in for paper towels both for sanitation and economy.”
