TANKS WITHOUT CREWS.
DIRECTED BY WIRELESS
(By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) Received November 9, 8.50 a-m.. LONDON, Nov. 7.
Crewless tanks, directed wirelessly through tho enemy’s defences, while spouting shells and clouds of terrible poison gas, may be the outcome of an extraordinary demonstration in a Paris street. The police and others in a boulevard were dumbfounded to see an empty motor car careering harmlessly through a maze of traffic, obeying all the traffic signals. The inventor, who is an ex-officer, discloses that he directed the movements from a following car.—Sydney Sun cable.
