RESEARCH SHIP.

BLOWN ON TO ROCKS.

LONDON, Nov. 7

During a blinding gale last night the yacht Saint George, which returned in September from a scientific cruise in the South Pacific, broke away from her moorings and went on the rocks near the harbourmaster’s jetty. Four of tbc crew were aboard. The vessel had been towed to Plymouth from Dartmouth for the purpose of being dry-docked before undertaking another trip to Cocos Islands in search of treasure. The vessel was later refloated and dry'-docked.—A. and N.Z. cable.
