PERSIAN REGIME.
REPUBLIC NOT LIKELY. LONDON, Nov. 8. The Daily' Telegraph’s diplomatic correspondent says that tile new Persian ruler and Government have shown respect for constitutional methods by summoning the National Assembly for tho purpose of settling the future regime. It ois unlikely that a republic will bo adopted, and the choice is likely to rest between a hereditary and an elective monarchy.—A. and N.Z. cable.
