Mails close at Palmerston North as under:—
For Great Britain, Ireland, Continent of Europe and United States of America (via San Francisco), due London about December S, per Tahiti, on Tuesday, November 10, at 9.15 a.m. For Australian States, South Africa, the East (per Maheno), on Thursday, November 12, at 4 p.m. - For Great Britain, Ireland and Continent of Europe (specially addressed correspondence only), also Argentine and Teneriffe, per Matakana,. on Friday, November 20th, at 9.15 a.m. The Christmas despatch of mails for Great Britain and Ireland will close at Palmerston North at 9.15 a.m. on Tuesday, 10th inst; due about Bth December. The next despatch after the above mails is not due to arrive in London until 25tli December.
