BOY SCOUTS.
A boy scout rally will be held by the organisation controlling the movement in Palmerston North, assisted by the Rotary Club, on Friday, 13th inst, at the Opera House. Among the items will be a bridge-building act by one troop, and a little one-act play in which the scouts’ knowledge of first aid will be revealed. Campfire scenes with scout solos and choruses will form part of the programme, while the Rotary entertainers will stage an original farce entitled “Silence in the Court,” which promises to bo a big fun-maker. All well-wishers of the boy scout movement should show their sympathy by being present.
