A MURDER MYSTERY.
BODIES HANGING FROM TREE. GRUESOME WAYSIDE SIGHT. NEW YORK, Oct. 19. A gruesome discovery was miade by three horsemen in a gloomy' Pennsylvanian forest. They left the town of Newcastle late in the afternoon, and reached the wood in tin* twilight. As the men wale led. their hoses up a steep hill, they saw silhouetted against the sky two dark forms suspended from a high tree. On arriving at the summit they were horrified to see that the forms were those of dead men. The corpses were hanging by ropes —which had been passed under the armpits—hut the heads of both were missing. ’ Police are searching all over the United States for the murderer.
