BANK DRAMA.
DISGUISED DETECTIVES. WAITING FOR RAIDS. LONDON, Oct. 23. Scotland Yard men have been watching tho National Provincial Bank, at Bishopgate, for a long time, disguised as bank messengers, commissionaires, and newsboys, while two, dressed as plumbers, have been working all day inside, owing to expected raids, especially on Thursdays, when tho bank was distributing funds to its branches. ' To-day, three men belonging to the East End, who had been loitering near, were arrested and hustled into taxicabs. They were later sentenced to three months’ imprisonment.
