ALLEGED MISREPRESENTATION. GENERAL CHARTERIS EXPLAINS. Received November 5, 8.40 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 4. General Cliarteris, who lias returned from America, explained to Sir L. Worthington Evans the circumstances of the misrepresentation of the German corpse factory speech. Sir L. Worthington Evans was perfectly satisfied.
General Cliarteris repeats the denial that lie faked the story for propaganda purposes.—Sydney Sun cable.
