FINAL GALLOPS AT ELLERSLIE. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Nov. 5. For the final gallops at Ellerslie this morning the weather was fine excepting for light showers. All the fast work was done on the outside of the course proper, which was very fast. Cherry girl did six furlongs in 1 '2l 3-5, Gala Day and Broadwoocl six in 1.20, The Thorn and Anklet five in 1 6 3-5, while Tactician, Goldfern and Joy Ride were on terms over a similar distance in I.G 2-5. Seatown and Helen did five furlongs in 1.8 1-5, easing up in the last furlong. Royal present heat Polinette over a mile in 1.44 4-5. Ballymoy and Motley went four furlongs in 50 3-5 secs, Civility and Siaosi five, in 1.5 2-5, Kamehameha, Te Monanui, Far Nortn, Star Ranger, Town Bank, Muraahi and Barometer were to have started out over a mile and a-quarter gallop, but Kamehameha broke away alone and ran a round in 2.1 1-5. liie others finished in this order: Far North, Star Ranger, Te Monanui, Town Bank, Barometer, Muraahi. The full distance took 2.16 4-5 and the last round 2.2 4-5.

King’s Speech defeated Merry Damon over six furlongs, but no time was taken. Daylight? ran the last five of six furlongs in 1.6 4-5. Vaward, Star Area and Royal Mint went a mile, the last seven furlongs taking 1.32 1-5.

Gold Aero beat Dave over four furlongs in 49 4-ssecs. Cawnporo, Master Doon and Arch Amio finished in that order at the end of five Unkings run in 1.6. King Smock and Snow Smock ran six furlongs in 1.21 2-6. Kiosk and Lysander went four furlongs in 51 l-ssecs.

Dal Eaton was in front of Nippy at the end of six furlongs run in 1.19. Oration started off at the five furlongs post and was picked up by Hypo at the three furlongs, Oration f lushing in front in 1.4 4-5, the last tluee taking 38 3-ssecs. King the Kell and La Choucas ran six furlongs in 1.17 3-5. Lady Ridicule was worked on the tan at a strong pace. I.'rclla and Pelham were together at the end of half a mile in 52seos. Royal lea covered half a mile in 54secs, not doing his best. March Away, Nassoek and De Bell did half a mile in 52secs. Value and Phaola were together at the end of five furlongs in 1.4 3-5. Desert Glow finished in front of Einella at the end of six furlongs in 1 17 d 5.

Holler and Price went over.the big fences, including the hill, Holler showing to the most advantage. an; mu jumped four hurdles nicely. Tuki wont over the fences on the Hat twice and gave a fairly good display. Musketoon started over a r..un l ot the tan with Knighthood, being brought homo by Nucleus ir.

The weather was lino for training at Riccarton this morning. The work was done on the plough except otherwise stated.

Soltorito beat Prosperity over seven furlongs in 1.354. Runiiymede was a little better than Oreum in a mile done in 1.45 1-5.

11.-i pi lie did a mile and a-quarter in 2.11 1-5.

Goldspear did six furlongs in 1.17 2-5. Sunart beat Clarinda over seven furlongs in 1.32 1-5. Centrepiece beat Rivalry over.a mile in 1.46.

Star Stranger and Giega took 1.'47 for a mile. Deucalion and Merry Day were well matched-over a mile and a-quartcr on the No. seven track in 2.7.

'J'e Kara did a working gallop over a mile and a-qnarter. Captain Sarto accompanying him in the last six furlongs. Pencils did six furlongs, in 1.10.

Commendation led Decoy Bird and Vertigern in a sprint down the straight. Tanadoes, Phoenix Park, The Banker and Shining Armour were in that order at the end of a mile and a-quartor run in 2.13.

Victory Bond did five furlongs in 1.2, and Tresham nine in 2.1, finishing several lengths in front of Kalakaua, whose rider lost a stirrup. . Clareina ran five furlongs on the No. 7 track in 1.5 2-5, and Inferno six in 1.16 2-5.

Sun Up, easily beat Countersign over half a milo on the outside of the course in 49 3-osecs.

Father D’Flynn and Circulation did six furlongs on tho course in 1.16 4-5. Reremoana did half a mile in 49secs, Money Order taking 48 3-5. Lucinius and Mimetic ran five furlongs in 1.3 2-5. Paper Chase did three furlongs on the No. 7 track in 36 2-ssecs.

Jarretiere beat Giantkiller over 7 furlongs oil the No. 7 track in 1.29 3-5.

Royal Divorce, easily be.lt Fool’s Paradise over six furlongs in 1.17 2-5. Agitato beat Dazzling Light over a

mile on the course, in 1.45 2-5. Mandano did u mile and a-quarter on the course in 2.11, the last mile taking 1.43 3-5. Footfall and Goldstep went a mile and a-quarter, the last mile taking 1.44 3-5. Ravenna and Lucinette, with Prolimhian over the last seven furlongs, ran a mile and a-quarter on the No. 7 track in 2.7 3-5.

Count Cavour easily heat Carpenticr over a mile and a-quarter in 2.10 3-5. Limited sprinted four furlongs in 49 3-ssecs. Philanderer boat Ivukume over six furlongs' in 1.18. Lava and Enarc were well matched over six furlongs, which took 1.7 2-5. Sunny Loch and The Cheat did 7 furlongs comfortably, the last six taking 1.19 2-5. Ahika was schooled alone and fell at the first hurdle, but afterwards jumped four well.

Adjutor outjumped Avispado over four hurdles, but the latter caught up each time on the Hat. Adjutor fell at the last hurdle. Will Oakland beat Finora over six furlongs. Happy Days beat Fulmar over seven furlongs in 1.33 3-5. Paper Boy did three furlongs in 37sec.

Merry Singer jumped four hurdles yell. Overdrawn beat His Majesty and AVaikaia over four 1 urlongs on the course in 49sec. Ayrluirn did four furlongs on the No. 7 track in 49 3-5 secs.

Scrip boat Bachelor in a. sprint down the straight. Sartist did seven furlongs in 1.29 4-5 sec. Celerity beat Jeux Floraux ever five furlongs in 1.4 3-5. En Route was lmieli better than Bonomol over four hurdles.

The southern arrivals last night ineluded Shandre, . Motorland, Last Dart, Mythology, Comic Song and Ful man.
