CONGRATULATIONS.
TO LOCAL REFORM MEMBERS. MR COATES’S MESSAGE. Air J. A. Nash, who was returned yesterday as Reform member for Palmerston with such a handsome majority, has received tho following telegram from the Prime Aiinister, Hon. J. G. Coates:—“l send you my warmest congratulations upon your victory in yesterday’s contest. 1 feel sure that the confidence expressed at the polls will be worthily justified to all your loyal supporters. i return my sincere thanks and appreciation of their enthusiastic co-operation. Good wishes to all.” Air J. Linklater, who also achieved a substantial win for Alanawatu, lias received a similar telegram.
