The train was travelling at great speed, and leaving his charge for a moment the constable returned to find that the man had disappeared. The fugitive had a miraculous escape from death, when he jumped from the train, and then carefully made his way to Sydney. Eventually ho reached a house in Strnoliau street, South Sydney, and rarely left it, su afraid was he of capture. Early last night his former escort waff responsible for his arrest. It was Constabio Taylor, who directed Detectives Comans and Gilbert to the house wliero the arrest was made. Despite that he was armed with the revolver, the runaway submitted peacefully.
