.WOUNDS FROM RAZOR. ARREST OF A YOUTH. SYDNEY, Nov. 2. Following tho death" at Junee of Clare Prowse, aged 17, a telephonist, Jack Smith, aged 18, a telegraph operator, has been arrested. It is stated that Smith had been paying addresses to the girl, and was repulsed. It is believed that she was attacked with a razor. She rushed into the house where she was boarding, covered with blood, and died shortly afte; - . The police visited a room in the Junee Hotel and arrested Smith, who is said to have had two gashes, one being in the temple He was bleeding profusely and was on tho point of collapse. He was sent to hospital and it is believed lie will recover. A razor was found in his room. —Press Association.
