Two juveniles who appeared before Mr J. L. Stout, S.M., this morning, charged with cycling on the footway, were filled 5s and 10s respectively, with costs 7s in each instance. A sale of work and tug-of-war in aid of the Catholic Church funds will be held this week. The members of this congregation arc past masters in the art of staging attractive bazaars and providing novel entertainment, and the sale opening on Thursday will be no exception to the rule.
