TERRIBLE SCALDS.
DEATH OF INFANT. (Per Press Association.) ASHBURTON, Nov. 2. Leonard James Prebble, aged five years, the only son of Mr and Mrs D. Prebble, of Mt. Somers, died in the County Hospital this morning from burns and shock. The - child, while playing at home about midday yesterday., fell into a bucket of boiling water and received tend ole scalds.
