NARROW ESCAPE.

FIRE AT CHRISTCHURCH. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 2. Mr Cecil George Farrow had a narrow escape from death in the flames which destroyed his homo at 462 Selwyn street early this morning. The lire was discovered at about three o’clock by a neighbour, who gave the alarm. Farrow did not know of the outbreak until the brigade arrived. The house, a six-roomed lone, was valued at £6OO and insured for £4OO.
