Judgment was given by Mr J. G. L. Hewitt, S.M., in a case heard in the Papakura Court in which Max J. Fnedlandcr, farmer, sued Charles H. Miller, sharemilker, for £l9l 17s 6d damages for loss of 43 sheep and 15 lambs through being worried by a dog alleged to be owned by defendant. The magistrate held it had been established that all the sheep, had suffered from the attacks of defendant’s dog. Plaintiff was awarded £144 12s 6d damages, with costs.
