HIGH PRICES FOR POTATOES. SYDNEY, Oct. 26. Owing to shortage of supplies, merchants nave raised the prices of potatoes by £2 to £3 per ton. Best Tasmanian are at £2l per ton, the highest for two years. New season’s local potatoes are £25 per ton.—Press Association.
