ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
MOTORIST SUSTAINS INJURY. While passing a motor car on the Foxton road yesterday on his return from the motor sports at the coastal town, a motor cyclist named Frederick John McKay, experienced a skid which resulted in his being thrown against the car. He suffered injuries to the face and head, a cut above the eyebrow resulting in concussion, and was taken to tho Palmerston North Hospital for treatment. He was reported to-day to be progressing favourably.
The boy Gordon Hudson, who was admitted to the Hospital from Levin on Sunday evening suffering from serious injuries to the face and head as a result of • a home-made gun which he had manufactured from an old gas pipe exploding, was reported to-day to be making fair progress. His face is still considerably swollen, and while it is feared that one eye may be seriously affected, some days must elapse before this can be determined.
