BETTING AT SPORTS.
MOVE FOR LEGALISATION. Received July 18, 10.45 a.m. SYDNEY, July 18. At the annual meeting of the League of New South Wales Wheelmen it was decided to confer with other professional sporting bodies with tho view to requesting the Government to repeal the Gaining and Betting Act and to legalise betting at sports meetings.— Press Association.
