AN OLD-ESTABLISHED NEW ZEALAND INDUSTRY. MAKING “K” JAM. Sunny Nelson, “the fruit garden of New Zealand,” is the home of one of our best-known industries. For fortythree years Messrs S. Kirkpatrick and Go., Ltd., have been buying up vast quantities of the beautiful fruit which grows to such perfection in the orchards of Nelson district and turning it into delicious “K” jam. So pure is this famous product that many women who looked with a cold eye on “bought” jam have generously declared “K” to be quite as good as their own Thome-made. The secret of its popularity is, of course, its “fruitiness,” a quality that can be obtained by one method only—the use of sound, ripe, luscious fruit. The cost of “K” jam iB very moderate indeed, whether in tins or glass jars. But for greatest economy ask for the 21b. size tins or special 71b. tins for family or boardinghouse use. Every purchase of “K” pure food products helps to build up British trade. Remember Mr Massey’s remarks on Empire preference. Be sure you ask for “K” jam, “K” baking powder, and other “K” products.— Advt.
