“STANDARD” ADVERTISERS. DVERTISERS in the “Manawatu Z\. Standard” will oblige by having their copy tor replace advertisements sent to our othce not later than 2 p.m. on the day PRECEDING that on which insertion is desired. Copy for replace advertisements not received by that time cannot be guaranteed insertion on the day following. Copy tor casual advertisements should be handed in by mid-day to ensure insertion on the. day of receipt, but where possible an earlier hour would be materially helpful. The production of an evening paper necessitates members of our staff working at a very high pressure between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., and with the growing volume of advertising and news the pressure is increasing.
