ENGLISH CHAMPIONSHIP. LONDON, June 15. One hundred and eighty-seven professionals and 14 amateurs have entered for ihe open golf championship including Kirkwood, the Americans, Beanes, Bourne, MacDonald and Smith, and the two French brothers. Boomer, and among the amateurs the champion (Harris), Tolley and Torrance, The preliminary round wdl be played at Troon on June 22, when Kirkwood will meet Collett, of Dorset. — A. and N.Z. cable.
