There aro a number of elements that take “Christine” out of the ordinary. In tho first place, the story is from the successful novel of Kathleen Norris, and is compelling and interesting from start to finish. In the second place, an excellent cast, including five stars, was provided by Mr Ince, and the story is \ ividly interpreted. And finally, tho production is typically a Thomus 11. Ince production. carefully directed a.nd staged in a lavish manner. The Gloaming v. The Hawk race is also showing. This shows tho whole of the race from start to finish and how the old champion held his opponent all the way and won easily when Young called on him for a finish. “The Sunset Four” sang nine numbers, including plantation melodies and comedy descriptive songs. ROSY. “IN FAST COMPANY” AND “THE SNOWSHOE TRAIL.” Something of tho speedy action in ‘ In Fast Company,” which is now showing at tho Kosy, can bo imagined from the fact tiiat persons who have seen call it a serial in feature length.” Every stunt performed by Richard r J almadge, star of the Truart production, is possible in real life. In other words, the situations are not forced but. .legitimate. But it is the speed with which the plot moves, and the fact that Talmadge performs so many daring thrills, that caused those who witnessed it.°to credit with being a feature length picture with serial value. “Ilio Snowshoe Trail” tells the story of an exquisitely beautiful socioty girl —of her search for a worthless fiance amid the frozen wastes of tho north —of her struggles to live amid tho snows and of her love for a more worthy man of the woods. Two comedies and an educational aro also showing.
