TYPHOID EPIDEMIC.
DEFINITELY WANING IN SUVA.
SUVA. May 19
The Chief Medical Officer considers that the typhoid epidemic is definitely waning. No new cases have been reported for five days. The total deaths officially reported are: Indians 10, Fijians I.—A. and N.Z. cable.
