MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS.

The weekly meeting of the management committee of the Manawatu Rugby Union was held last night when the: president, Mr» A. Hannay, occupied the chair. CORRESPONDENCE. From the secretary, Feilding Club, forwarding cheque for £ll 8s lid, being takings at the gate from May 2 to May 19.—Received. From the Primary Schools’ Association advising that endeavours were being made to arrange a match between the Feilding and Palmerston North primary school representatives during show week. Further, that it was this year impossible for the schools to place teams in the sixth grade competition.—Received. Fr6m To Kawau Sub-Union acknowledging Teceipt of passes and thanking the union for its donation of £5 for the promotion of school football. The writer also requested that the Manawatu A. and P. Association be requested to make ample provision for dressing, etc., on the occasion of the matoh, Oroua v. Te Kawau, at the Winter Show.—Received, the matter of dressing accommodation to be given attention.

From the Wellington Union regretting that a suitable date prior to August 22 for the fixture, Manawatu-llorowhenua versus Wellington, was not available. —Received.

From the Wanganui Union confirming August 29 as the date for the match versus the Manawatu representatives which will be played at Palmerston North. —Agreed to.

From Miss I. M. Naim, College street west, seeking recruits from Rugby players to join a first aid class under the auspices of St, John Ambulance.—Left in the hands of the club delegates to bring to the notice of their respective clubs.
